It is a 6-place fixed angled rotor for use with standard 5-10 mL tubes. It can spin up to three 15 ml tubes. 2 ml and 4-5 ml tubes can be spun with available adapters (sold separately). Centrifuge is fixed speed at 3,400 RPM. It features a dependable mechanical 30-minute timer with a bell signal at the end of run. A safety switch in the lid shuts off the motor when the lid is unlatched. The latch release is located on the right front side of unit. A power indicator light displays when the unit is powered on.
